Vintage Camper Doodle Tutorial

Today I’m going to show y’all how to draw the vintage camper doodle from my May cover page! My May bullet journal set-up is a camping theme. If you haven’t seen my set-up blog post yet, check it out here.

How to Draw Your Vintage Camper

It’s actually really easy to draw a cute, vintage camper. And there’s so many variations you can make to make it your own! It’s also fun to add little decorations in front of your camper to create your own campsite.

  1. Draw an uneven oval- You can make it perfectly symmetrical or lopsided like I did. Just make sure the bottom in flat!
  2. Add a door, window, and a cut-out for the tire- The door should be at least 3/4 the height of the camper. If you make it too short it will look a little funny. You can do a rectangle or circle window!
  3. Add some cute decor- Put curtains in the door window, an awning on the window, and maybe a cute banner! Then just color it in!

Supplies

If you want to use the same the same colors that I did, that’s all of them in this picture. They were all in the “cottage” Tombow set, or you could buy them individually from somewhere like Michaels!

I always sketch out my doodles with a pencil and I erase the lines after I go over them with a fineliner. I use these Staedtler Pigment liners to outline ALL of my doodles. They are my favorite fineliners.
