Ideal Daily Routine| Weekend Edition

Last year I shared my Ideal Daily Routine bullet journal spread with y’all. It was actually one of my most popular posts last year! That routine is still pretty much the same for me, but I thought it would be fun to share what an ideal weekend day looks like for me. Of course weekends are not as structured, and we have different plans and things going on, but this is my perfect way to spend a Sunday at home. It’s the perfect mix between productive and relaxing. I’m such a home body, that days like this really make me happy.

Check out my Ideal Weekday Routine here.

Making your own daily routine in your bullet journal is super easy, and really fun! I swear you’ll feel productive just writing it down. You can either do a weekday/work-day, or a weekend day, or both! Start by looking at the time you wake up in the morning and the time you go to bed. Make a timeline and break it up into either hour or half hour blocks. I made the blocks into hours to keep it simple, but I still broke down into half hours when I filled it in. Put on all the things that you know you HAVE to do, like going to work, eating lunch, feeding your pets, etc. Then make a list of all the things you would ideally accomplish in a day, like certain errands, work out, self care, etc. Now just play around with the time slots you have available. Decide whether you like working out in the AM or PM, etc. Now put it all together, add some color and some doodles, and that’s it!

This is a great reminder to have in your bullet journal for the days when you don’t feel like doing anything, or if you don’t know where to start. But it’s also important to remember that not every day will be perfect. You can’t beat yourself up if you didn’t do every single thing every day!
