Starting on Monday, I’ll be home from work for at least two weeks. We don’t have the technology to actually work from home, so I’ll have a lot of free time on my hands. I know a lot of people are in the same boat right now while we all practice social distancing, so I came up with a list of some fun/creative/productive ideas of things to do when you’re stuck at home.
Start a Bullet Journal
If you’ve ever thought about starting a bullet journal before now is the perfect time to start! You can order everything you need to get started online (most from Amazon!).

Keep up With Your Planner
Don’t neglect your planner just because everything has been canceled. Instead, plan out your days at home to keep you productive. Schedule things like your workout, when you’ll do work, what you’ll eat for lunch etc.
Organize and Declutter
Now is the perfect time to go through different areas of your house and reorganize and declutter. Some things to organize/declutter: stationery & art supplies, makeup & skincare, pantry & refrigerator, clothes.
I ordered some of these bins to organize my fridge and my pantry.
Doodle
Anyone can doodle! You don’t have to be “good” at drawing. There’s tons of doodle ideas on Pinterest. Check out my doodle tutorials. I just posted a Spring Doodles Page with a free printable version.
Take an Online Course
Online courses are a great way to learn a new skill! Archer &Olive is uploading some free e-courses. Tomboy is also offering one free course. I’m planning on taking this Procreate course from Every Tuesday. You can also find a ton of courses on SkillShare.
Create Art
My goal is definitely to create as much art as possible during this time. It’s a huge stress reliever to express your creativity.
Bake Something
I love baking when I’m at home. It’s not even about the end result as much as the process. My favorite baking blogs are Sally’s Baking Addiction and Running with Spoons.
Do an At-Home Workout
I always do my workouts at home, but I know a lot of people are used to going to the gym. My favorite workout videos are from Blogilates. She has a ton of short workouts that require little to know equipment.
Do Yoga
If Pilates and cardio isn’t really your thing, yoga is a great way to get your body moving with less impact. Yoga with Adrienne is my favorite yoga channel.
Clean
Once you’ve done everything you can possibly do, clean! Deep clean the things that you’ve been putting off for awhile. You’ll feel so much better in a clean environment.
