Master Grocery List

I don’t know about y’all, but we have our favorite grocery stores for different items. We like to make things complicated and can’t just get everything from one place. So this spread is going to help simplify and streamline the grocery shopping process. We’re always buying mostly the same things week after week, and I always have to make a new list. So this master list will cover all of those basics (that we can never have too much of), and I can just snap a pic of the list before we head to the store.

This concept also works if you do all of your shopping at just one store! Instead of dividing the spread into stores, you can divide it into categories (i.e. produce, meat, dairy, snacks, etc.)

Target

I think we can all agree that Target is a magical place with so much good stuff. Much more than just grocery items. But this is a grocery list, so that’s what I focused on. I love to get our “snacky” foods from here. They have the biggest selection of prepackaged stuff. I also usually get our milk here because it’s cheaper than anywhere else.

Rouse’s

Rouse’s is a local grocery near our house. They have a bunch of them all over south Louisiana and they have a great selection of local fresh foods and seafood.

Whole Foods

Maybe in another life where I’m rich I’ll be able to shop at Whole Foods more, but for now we have to limit what we buy from there. Also, we can’t go too often because we’re like children in a candy store and we’ll end up with a cart full of great stuff, but we have to take out a small loan and sell most of our possessions to afford it. All kidding aside though, Whole Foods really is the best place to get some of these things. Their meat is just the best quality we’ve found anywhere.

Trader Joe’s

I have such a love/hate relationship with Trader Joe’s. I love so many of their products, but I hate that they’re sold out of them so often. Also, it can get a little crazy in that place. Nevertheless, T Joe’s is great for frozen foods and fun/healthy-ish snacks. And although we have our classics we always get, we always find something new to try when we go. So I’m sure this list will grow over time.
