Zebra Mildliners Review

Zebra Mildliners are probably the most popular “highlighter” in the bullet journal world. I don’t know what took me so long to get them, but I’m so glad I finally did!

They’re called mildliners because they are more muted colors than your typical highlighter. They come in about 25 different shades. I purchased a 3-pack (3 packs of 5 markers each) on Amazon for $11, so they’re pretty cheap compared to some other markers. My 3-pack included the Warm colors, Fluorescent colors, and Cool colors. The come in some of the prettiest colors ever. I particularly love the brown, blue and yellow from the warm pack. The yellow is the perfect marigold color I’d not yet found for my collection.

One thing I didn’t realize when I ordered them was they’re dual tipped! They have your typical chisel tip sides for highlighting and then a pointed tip for writing. This made me love them so much more because I can actually use them to write, instead of just highlighting things.

Another bonus for stationery lovers, is the look of the markers. They might just be the prettiest markers I own. They make props for pictures of your journal, and they’ll also just make you happy to look at! Y’all get happy when you look at your stationery collection too, right? I can’t be the only one.

Before I purchased these mildliners, I thought to myself (do I really need more markers when I could just get some more Tombows”, but the answer is yes. I did need these markers. They’re not better than Tombows, but they are certainly different enough to earn a place in your stationery collection. I finally understand the hype around these markers. And now I’m just kicking myself that I didn’t get them sooner, because these might have made studying in college more tolerable (okay, probably not. But they would’ve been nice to have!). So, if you’re like me and you haven’t gotten any mildliners yet, do yourself a favor and order a pack. You won’t be disappointed!
