It feels a little weird to be talking about all my favorite things right now, but I actually do have a lot for March! The first half of March was still pretty normal for us so I have some things from that, and then the rest are related to the quarantine.

More Time for Creating

The biggest silver lining to what’s happening it the world right now, is the extra time I have at home. I’m trying to maximize my time by creating art and working on my blog.

I’m still taking plenty of time to binge watch Netflix (Have y’all watched Tiger King?! It’s wild), but I also want to feel productive and have something good come out of this.

New Blog Theme

You might have noticed things look a little different around here, and that’s because I got a new blog theme! It’s made by theme same designers, but it’s a little newer, more customizable, and has some better features! I’m still playing around with it a bit, but I’m so happy with it.

Spring Clothes

At the beginning of the month I bought a bunch of new casual clothes for spring, not realizing I really wouldn’t be wearing them out of the house anytime soon. Luckily, most of it is comfy enough to wear around the house, and makes me feel more put-together from wearing real clothes. I took pictures of a few of my favorites, but I’ve linked everything I bought below if you’re in need of some online shopping.

Target Sandals

I ordered these sandals from Target and I’m pleasantly surprised with how much I like them! They’re $15 and they’re so comfy. The totally look nice enough to where out and about, but would also be great for the pool or the beach.

Candle

This candle is my favorite! I’ve be lighting it in my office every single day. I can’t quite explain the smell, but it’s so good. It’s not super strong. And it’s almost calming. I’m already ordering a back-up for when I burnt through this one.

This Bluetooth speaker has also been a favorite. I’ve been listening to a lot of music and podcasts in the background lately and I’m so glad I have this speaker.

I saw this on Instagram and it really spoke to me. I think the thing I miss the most is being able to go to Target and just browse and buy a bunch of random things. Behind Target I think I miss Michaels and TJ Max the most. Where do y’all miss going the most right now?

Nintendo Switch

Okay, this has to be my biggest impulse buy in a long time. I’ve been seeing everyone playing the new Animal Crossing and I’ve been so jealous. After I found out we’ll be home from work for at least a week longer than we orginally thought, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a Switch.

Well, of course by the time I decided that EVERYWHERE was sold out. The combination of a new game and everyone being quarantined at home with their kids made it impossible to find one anywhere. This morning I checked the stock at my local Target, and they had them in stock! I sent Taylor to pick it up and the guy actually had to hunt it down in the back, but he got one! It’s definitely a different kind of purchase for me, but I’m excited to have something else to do!
