My March theme is New Orleans architecture. Because Mardi Gras is March 5th this year I thought it’d be a perfect way to celebrate the holiday in my journal. I didn’t just want a Mardi Gras theme since the holiday will be over at the beginning of the month. It was a lot of fun to find inspiration for my spreads. New Orleans has some of the cutest houses and I LOVE the balconies.
Cover Page & Quote Page
For my quote page this month I went with a classic Louisiana/ Mardi Gras quote. Laissez les bon temps is French for let the good times roll.
My cover page is the front of a cute little shotgun house.
Monthly
For my monthly overview I put a little French Quarter balcony. I used my new Watercolor Confections palette for it, which I’ll be doing a full review on soon.
Habit Tracker
I’m trying another habit tracker style this month. I’m tracking most of the same things I always do. Spin ( on stationary bike), make it to work on time, strength training/pilates, no spending, post on Instagram, post on the blog, and journal.
One Line a Day
I really enjoyed using my one line a day page last month so I decided to include again this month. I think it’s a great way to remember little things that you wouldn’t otherwise write down in your journal.
Weekly
I stuck with the same weekly layout from February, but I dropped the outlines. It’s a simple layout that works well for me. And I added a couple more shotgun houses.
