I’m back with some more favroites for y’all. I have quite a few home decor favorites from this past month. I think spending so much time at home these days has made me want to make everything COZY.

Calligraphy Guide

My biggest favorite this month was finally launching my Guide to Modern Calligraphy and Handlettering! I had been working on it for so long, and I’m so glad I was finally able to share it with y’all. I already working on some new things to add to the shop! If there’s anything y’all would like to see in the shop (calligraphy or bullet journal related), send me an email at rae@raesdailypage.com. I love talking to y’all!!

Couch Pillows

These pillows are so comfy! They’re oversized for throw pillows- I think they’re the size of a euro pillow? But we use them on our couch and they are great. They have a good “weight” to them so they don’t squish flat, but they also aren’t stiff like some throw pillows. Taylor usually has to fight Dolly for use of his pillow though 🙂

Foyer Table Decor

This foyer table was definitely a quarantine purchase, and I’ve been slowly adding decor to it. I kind of wanted to keep in minimal because pretty soon I’ll be bringing out all the fall decor! (And then Christmas!) But I added some picture frames, this vase, and some books. The basket is probably my favorite find. I just have extra blankets in it, but I love the shape! I liked that it wasn’t just a round or rectangle. It was a little different

The lamp actually came in a set of 2. They are so cheap for two lamps (only $50), but the quality is so nice! It was the perfect size for the spot. I use these amber light bulbs to give that warm and cozy vibe and I love them.

*I’ve already mentioned the Stars Hollow art, but here’s the link. She has quite a few variations. I’m already eyeing the winter version!

Outings with Dolly

When we got Dolly in October last year, our plan was to take her on a little trip in the summer (probably to Austin!), but that definitely isn’t happening anytime soon. So instead we’ve settled for some local outings- aka a trip to the Starbucks drive thru and to Bass Pro Shop! Which have quickly before her favorite places, which is fine by me because Starbucks is my fave and Bass Pro is definitely Taylor’s!

Cozy Robe

I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t it 100 degrees outside right now? With no cooler weather in sight for months? Yes. It definitely is. BUT I keep my house COLD. Especially at night. So when I wake up in the morning, and I have to get out from under the covers it’s pretty chilly. I always put a robe on first thing in the morning and keep it on while I get ready. I’ve been using the same cheap Target robe for probably 6 years now. At some point I lost the tie and it’s gotten kind of funky. Just not so soft anymore. Since I wear my robe a couple hours every single day, I decided to treat my self to a nice one. I got this robe from L.L. Bean and it is so cozy!! I sized up one size so that it would be extra long (it almost hits my ankles) and I would have plenty of space to wrap up in it.
