Friday Favorites- 6/7/19

Wow. I didn’t think I’d ever make it to Friday this week, but I am beyond happy it’s finally here. It has been a week. I really don’t have a ton of favorites because it’s been so stressful, but I still want to tell y’all what’s been going on.

Blogilates 28-Day Summer Sculpt – Okay so this is a favorite! I don’t usually do specific workout “challenges” or programs, but I love Blogilates videos and this came out at the perfect time. For the past year and a half my main workout has been spinning on my stationary bike and the occasional workout video, but I felt like it was time to switch things up. This is a 28-day program of 7 different full length workouts with warm up and cool down included(which I love). So I’m giving my bike a break for 28-days and trying something different. I think it’s good idea to switch up your workout routine to continue to challenge your body. I will keep y’all updated on how it goes, but so far I’m loving it!

Did y’all see my post on Monday? I gave some tips on How to be Productive at Work. I definitely had to use all of them this week because I was not feeling super motivated.

My first NON favorite of the week- They’re replacing our HVAC units at work, so on Tuesday we had no A/C all day. It was 96 degrees outside, and by the end up the day my office was 87 degrees. It was pretty rough and I was exhausted by the end of the day. We’ve had air the rest of the week, but again on Monday and Tuesday we’ll be without while they install the second unit.

My second NON favorite- Yesterday was SCARY. We had some crazy flash flooded all over the city yesterday morning. I was driving to work when it was first getting bad and I really didn’t know it was going to be as bad as it was. I barely made it to work it time because downtown got really bad right after. These two pictures are both 2 blocks away from my office, and I usually take these roads to get there(you know, when they’re NOT underwater).

*I didn’t take the pictures- I got them from a local news article

So that’s my week! I hope y’all had good weeks! Let me know some of your favorites. But for now, I’m counting down the hours to the weekend.
