I’m back with some more doodles for y’all! Today it’s all about drawing books! Have y’all seen my bookish bullet journal theme yet? If not, you can check it out here.
Books are suprisingly easy to draw since they’re mostly straight lines. Just decide if you want to draw one book or a stack of books. If you want the book open or closed. And decide the perspective of the book(s).
If you’re having a hard time with the perspective, take a book (or stack of books) and place it on the table in front of you. Angle it the way you want to draw it. Pay attention to where you can see the pages, where the books overlap, and how the spine and cover are angled.
If you’re not up for drawing books, but still want to include them in your bullet journal, download my free bookish printable below. Along with book doodles, I included some other quintessential bookish items- like lamps, candles, and coffee. Just enter your email and then download the doodles!
If you use my printable doodles or draw your own bookish doodles in your bullet journal, send me a picture or tag me on social media! I’d love to see how y’all used them!
