Today I’m reviewing the Sharpie S-Note Creative Markers! I’m so excited to share these with y’all. I saw a few planner planner friends on Instagram sharing these markers, and I had to try them! I ordered mine on sale from Michael’s, but they’re normally cheaper on Amazon. I got the 24-pack for only $15!
What Are Sharpie S-Note Markers?
Sharpie S-Note Creative Markers are mild highlighters, aka mildliners. They have a chisel tip like normal highlighters, but with more muted colors. You can also use the pointy side of the chisel tip to create thinner lines.
They come in 24 different colors. They are perfect for note-taking, bullet journaling, and planners! You can highlight words or you can use the smaller side of the chisel tip to create lettering and doodles.
I swatched all 24 colors for y’all. The thick line is using the chisel tip normally. The thin line is from turning the chisel tip on its side and use the pointy part. It can be a little hard to control the thinner line, but it’s definitely doable!
Are They Better Than Zebra Mildliners?
No, they’re different! They are obviously pretty similar to Zebra Mildliners, but there are some differences too. The most obvious is that mildliners have a chisel tip on one end and a pointed tip on the other. The Sharpie S-Note markers only have the chisel tip. You can still get a similar result because you can use the small side of the chisel tip to make thin lines. I prefer having an actual pointed tip on the other end because it provides better control, especially for lettering. I would also say the S-Note markers are slightly more pigmented. Some of the colors might be a bit too dark for normal highlighting purposes, but for creative purposes I don’t mind!

If you already have Zebra Mildliners and you like them, you’ll probably like the Sharpie S-Note markers too! Pretty much all of the colors are different than what the mildliners come in, so you won’t end up with a bunch of “repeat” markers. They’re a fun addition to my collection and they’ll definitely get a lot of use, especially in my Passion Planner!
