*Disclaimer- Notebook Therapy sent me this notebook to review, however, all opinions are completely my own.
The Tsuki Bullet Journal is Notebook Therapy‘s very own bullet journal! It’s a brand new bullet journal (yay for more bullet journals!). They kindly sent me one to test out and I can’t wait to share with y’all what I think!
Paper
Let’s just go ahead and start with the best feature- the paper! I love that it’s 160GSM. That means you won’t have any ghosting or bleed through. I tested every type of pen I had and none bled through! The paper is bright white and pretty smooth, but not slippery. Ink dries very quickly, which is great for writing with gel pens (no smudges!). It’s not great for blending Tombow’s because the colors are dry by the time you start blending. You can see the paper started pilling a bit when I tried blending the two colors. It also holds up surprisingly well to watercolor! Again, it’s going to dry pretty quickly, but if you work fast enough it’s doable. It looks like it was just starting to bleed through where I applied the most water, but that’s typical for most non-watercolor paper.
Covers
The Tsuki Bullet Journal has two cover options- pink Sakura and mint matcha. They’re both hard cover, vegan leather covers. The pink has rose gold gilding on the edge of the paper and the mink has gold gilding. I got the pink and it’s so cute. I love the gold moon on the front and the gilded edges is a fun touch. The vegan leather feels high quality and I think it’s would definitely hold up to regular journal wear and tear.
Cost & Shipping
The journal costs $25.98 which is priced fairly when you compare it to similar notebooks on the market (Archer & Olive- $31, Scribbles That Matter- $22, Leuchtturm- $20). Notebook Therapy offers free shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase. You’ll want to keep in mind that if you live in the U.S. it could take up to 21 days for delivery. I got mine in about 15 days.
Final Opinion
The Tsuki bullet Journal is a great notebook for a bullet journal. Its paper quality is super impressive with 160gsm and no ghosting. The main limitation would be the lack of options. Right now they only have 2 different cover options, which are both cute, but you’re limited. Another this to consider is that it’s slightly smaller than A5, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Overall, I think the Tsuki Bullet Journal is a great option for your next bullet journal!
