There is so much cute stationery and school supplies these days that I ALMOST wish I was still in school (almost). But since I’m not I thought I’d share some of my favorite finds with y’all! Also, you definitely don’t have to use these just for school. A lot of these supplies are the same as what I use in my bullet journal. So don’t let that stop you from getting fun stationery.
Backpacks
I recently bought a backpack for my trip to California and I was overwhelmed with all the CUTE backpacks. I don’t understand when they started making backpacks this cute. I went my entire education (kindergarten-college) with a Jansport(not the same one obviously), and while there’s nothing wrong with that, some of these options are a little more fun.
Highlighters
This is the one that I really wish I knew about in college. Mildliners are AMAZING. I use these all the time in my bullet journal, but they’re great for highlighting notes.
Another option is the Stabilo highlighters. I haven’t used these in awhile but they’re really popular and they’re cute.
Notebooks
Pencil Bags
Pencils
These are my two favorite pencils: my favorite mechanical pencil and my favorite wooden pencil.
Pens
When you’re taking notes you’re usually writing a lot down quickly. I find gel pens write the smoothest, but a lot of gel pens smudge. I did a full review of a bunch of popular black pens, but these are my favorites for note taking. The Pentel Flair pens are felt tip and are great to use for your headers and color coding.
Erasers
iPad Pro
This is obviously not a little stationery item, but this is one thing that I wish I had during college. The iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil is an excellent tool for note-taking. I’ve seen some mesmerizing videos of people taking their notes on their iPad. If you like to have digital copies of your notes, but you like the feel of actually writing your notes, this might just do the trick. And you can obviously use it for a million other things. My iPad is probably my favorite purchase of the year.
