Hey guys. I’m going to start with the big NOT favorite of the week. Tropical Storm Barry is headed toward south Louisiana and is expected to hit Saturday morning as a Category 1 hurricane. I’m home from work today because everything has been cancelled/closed. They’re having a hard time predicting exactly where this storm is heading, but right now the area I’m in is expecting up to 20 inches of rain. BUT we are stocked up on non-perishables (aka all the SNACKS) and water and we’re just going to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Now on to happier things!
We were in Perdido Key earlier this week for Taylor’s family’s annual vacation. It was HOT as heck, but the water was really nice and we had a great time.
I’m sure if you read ANY other blogs you’ve heard about the Nordstrom Sale. Now, I’m definitely not a fashion blogger, but I enjoy getting a few things each year. Early Access for cardholders starts TODAY. I’m hoping to get a new bra, a couple sweaters and cardigans, and maybe a pair of booties. This sale is so awesome because it’s all NEW stuff for fall, so it’s a great time to get some new pieces for fall, and stock up on your basics. I’ll update y’all with what I end up getting!
Did y’all notice anything different about my site today? I changed up my logo! I used this font from Creative Market and then I created the actual logo in my Procreate App.
